Ogunbona Oluwatomilola
Ogunbona Oluwatomilola is a Nigerian visual artist, educator, and creative strategist whose practice sits at the intersection of fine art, design, and social inquiry. Trained in Creative Arts and Fine and Applied Arts, his work reflects a deep curiosity about memory, identity, labour, and everyday lived experiences within contemporary African society. He is particularly interested in how ordinary materials, gestures, and narratives can be transformed into visual languages that speak to resilience, adaptation, and human connection.
Beyond the studio, Oluwatomilola is actively engaged in education and creative development, working with schools, young artists, and tech learners to bridge art, technology, and learning. His multidisciplinary approach draws from painting, design thinking, and digital experimentation, allowing his works to move fluidly between tradition and innovation. Through exhibitions, workshops, and community-focused projects, he continues to explore art not only as an object of contemplation, but as a tool for dialogue, empowerment, and shared experience.
