Lanre Tejuoso

Lanre Tejuoso

Olanrewaju Ayinla Tejuoso is a Nigerian multidisciplinary artist whose practice investigates the intersection of environment, community, and material transformation. Guided by his philosophy of “From Waste to Life,” he repurposes discarded materials to create thought-provoking installations that question consumption, waste, and renewal. His works reflect deep environmental and social consciousness, using art as a tool for both reflection and change.

Tejuoso has participated in several international artist residencies, including programs in the United States, Indonesia, and Cameroon. He has exhibited in numerous group and solo shows across Africa and beyond, promoting sustainability and creative reuse as cultural imperatives. Through his artistic engagements, Tejuoso builds bridges between art and ecology, inspiring communities to see beauty and possibility in what is often overlooked. He continues to live and work in Nigeria, developing projects that merge aesthetics, education, and environmental activism.
